Creating an abstract music video for Lelo
The I’ll be fine music video shows Lelo’s band performing in a dark and dreamy location with simultaneously performing in another location as he fights off the bad thoughts that race around his head. Two dancers act as metaphors for the bad thoughts in his head, he must fight them off so he can get back to doing what he loves, making music and performing with his band. The film follows him fighting and making his way to the band.
Shot in two locations, a pier in Hartlepool Teesside during sunrise and a warehouse room in Leeds the shoot took place over two days. Ronan is a long friend of ours, we first met photographing his gigs in a previous band and went on to shoot a music video in our old Leeds studio. It was a pleasure to create a film for his new band with his new musical style, we can’t wait to continue to do so.
